Hallo zusammen
Da mein VDR in einem anderen Stockwerk steht, als mein PC, musste ich bisher immer hinlaufen und einschalten, wenn ich mal schnell was nachsehen wollte, um im Forum zu helfen.
Folglich dachte ich an WOL für den VDR
WOL ist im BIOS als automatisch aktiviert
hwinfo --netcard 20: PCI 208.0: 0200 Ethernet controller [Created at pci.281] Unique ID: rBUF.6lKL7g0K678 Parent ID: 6NW+.siohrLUzzI4 SysFS ID: /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1e.0/0000:02:08.0 SysFS BusID: 0000:02:08.0 Hardware Class: network Model: "IBM EtherExpress PRO/100 VE" Vendor: pci 0x8086 "Intel Corporation" Device: pci 0x2449 "82801BA/BAM/CA/CAM Ethernet Controller" SubVendor: pci 0x1014 "IBM" SubDevice: pci 0x0234 "EtherExpress PRO/100 VE" Revision: 0x03 Driver: "e100" Driver Modules: "e100" Device File: eth0 Memory Range: 0xee000000-0xee000fff (rw,non-prefetchable) I/O Ports: 0x2000-0x2fff (rw) IRQ: 20 (20116 events) HW Address: 00:09:6b:a4:66:31 Link detected: yes Module Alias: "pci:v00008086d00002449sv00001014sd00000234bc02sc00i00" Driver Info #0: Driver Status: e100 is active Driver Activation Cmd: "modprobe e100" Driver Info #1: Driver Status: eepro100 is not active Driver Activation Cmd: "modprobe eepro100" Config Status: cfg=new, avail=yes, need=no, active=unknown Attached to: #12 (PCI bridge)
Die Netzwerkkarte ist auf WOL geschaltet

Und einmal wachte der VDR auch auf,als ich
wol 00:09:6B:A4:66:31
an meinem PC eingab. WOL ist das Tool wakeonlan für Opensuse. Leider nur einmal. Hat jemand noch eine Idee, woran es liegen könnte?
