hi leute,
ich habe heute meinen linvdr-rechner mit easyvdr bestückt und bin einfach nur begeistert. insbesondere die wlan-ünterstützung meiner ralink rt2500 ist klasse.
leider habe ich es noch nicht - wie bei meiner alten linvdr-installation - hinbekommen, dass der rechner bei timeraufnahmen selbstständig hochfährt, die aufnahme macht und anschließend wieder runterfährt. was muss ich tun, dass es funktioniert.
ich habe bereits nvram mit guess-helper eingestellt und nun fährt beim rechner beim drücken des ausschalten-knopfes auf der fernbedienung auch runter.
bitte helft ;-)

Zu dem Thema wäre eine Signatur zwingend erforderlich und deine nvram-wakeup.conf.
Was macht er denn, wird der Timer gesetzt und ..., ein Paar mehr Infos wären gut.

was ich etwas merkwürdig fand, ist, dass mein dem durchlaufen von guess-helper im dritten ruchlauf die leben zahlen wie im 2. durchlauf eingestellt werden sollten....komisch...aber mit der oben genannten konfiguration fährt die kiste sauber runter....nur sie wacht nicht auf und fährt dann nach dem gewünschten aufnahme nicht runter....

Hallo,
wenn ich mir deine nvram so anschaue, kann da leider nicht gehen.
die ist leider nicht vollständig.
es müsste vom guess-helper 2 ordner im /root verzeichnis geben.
aus welchen der beiden ist diese; wie sieht die andere aus?

eigentlich sah das erste log vielversprechend aus; bis zum "Couldn't guess checksum addresses (out of 7).
" am ende. lösche mal die ordner und versuchs nochmal. Vielleicht klappts dann. Am besten vorher immer mit stopvdr den vdr beenden. Wenns dann nicht klappt muss evtl. ein anders bios her.

und starte den guess-helper mal mit der Option U (unbekannt).
Habe auch ein WinFast nVidia-Board. Bei mir gings nur damit.
Poste danach bitte nochmal die beiden nvram-wakeup.conf.
Es muß vielleicht noch einen Eintrag geändert werden.

ich habe auch ein großes Problem mit dem wakeup. Mein guess-helper bekommt es nicht hin. Habe die Frage schon im vdr Forum gestellt, aber noch keine Antwort bekommen. Habt Ihr einen Tip, was ich noch probieren könnte?

Schön wäre es! Das Problem ist meine BIOS Version. Die ist zu neu. Die Unterstützung funktioniert nur mit einer steinalten BIOS-SW. Der Test sagt ja auch, daß er mein Board nicht unterstützt.

Habe U angegeben. Habe es aber auch mal mit intel probiert, weil es glaube ich einen intel Chipsatz hat

also dein Borad hat einen i845 Chipsatz deshalb ist bei der Erstellung der nvram-wakeup.conf mittles guess-helper unbedingt am Anfang die Option Intel anzugeben, siehe auch hier:
