Hallo.
Ich habe im Moment einen Digitainer (siehe Signatur).
Meine momentane Situation ist diese:
1 Kabel vom Keller-Multiswitch in die Wohnung, gesplittet in 2 Räume, diese Situtation möchte ich ändern. Verlegen eines 2. Sat-Kabels in die Wohnung zum VDR, damit ich mit 2 Karten im VDR arbeiten kann. Im 2. Raum möchte ich dann nur mehr einen "guten" Streamclient einsetzen.
Ich habe mir eine Technotrend S2300 modded bestellt, habe ausserdem noch eine Skystar 2.6 rumliegen.
Und jetzt die Fragen...
Soll ich die FF Karte dann zusätzlich in den Digitainer einbauen, oder soll ich diesen dann als Streamclient verwenden ?
Ich benötige also entweder einen neuen Haupt-VDR, oder einen Streamclient, was ist der bessere Weg ??
Wenn neuer Streamclient welcher ?
Wenn neuer VDR, welches hübsche Gehäuse, Mainboard, ohne Probleme mit Wakeup usw... :)
Wäre für Ratschläge dankbar...
p.s. Bin bereit in eine zufriedenstellende Lösung ein Teil Weihnachtsgeld zu investieren ... ;D

Wenn neuer VDR, welches hübsche Gehäuse, Mainboard, ohne Probleme mit Wakeup usw...
Ich würde das als "Geschmacksache" sehen :)
Ich persöhnlich hab ein Digitainer Gehäuse, mit Asus Board + FF + Budget im Wohnzimmer, und eine Haupauge Media MVP als Streaming Client im Schlafzimmer (kein Lüfter, schnucklig klein)!

Danke für die Anwort.
Ich habe schon im Wiki nachgelesen, was ich aber nicht rauslesen kann,
was mit einem MediaMVP alles nicht funktioniert. Ich habe auf einem MVP
kein OSD zur Verfügung oder ? Dies wäre mir ja egal, aber schaffe ich es VDR-Aufnahmen
per MVP abspielen zu lassen oder würde ich hier mit einem anderen Streamclient wie zb.
einer Samsung 7020 weiterkommen ?

Auf der MVP gibt es OSD, VDR AUfnahmen können abgespielt werden, und auch Timer können Programiert werden! und noch ein paar andere Dinge.

Die SMT wäre eine Alternative, Ich hab jedoch festgestellt, das mir der Lüfter der SMT wenn Sie warm wird, zu laut wäre für Fernsehschlafen :D
Ist aber nicht gesagt das es so bleibt, evtl ist da noch ein Fehler in meiner sensor konfiguration

Hallo.
Zu meinem erschrecken sehe ich das die Media MVP Box per TFTP gestartet werden will.
Ich werde ich jetzt wohl auf ein Problem stossen, ich habe schon einen TFTP-Server im LAN.
Dieser Server ist ein Win-System und versorgt auch Thinstations (sf.net) per TFTP was auch
so bleiben muss.
2 neue Fragen also ::)
Ich gehe davon aus das Win-TFTP kein Problem sein wird, aber..
wie kann ich auf 2 verschiedene Bootsourcen verweisen ???

das ist kein Problem für die MVP, du kannst im Menü der MVP wenn du sie Bootest, auswählen welche Source du nutzen willst!
