Hallo zusammen,
ich wollte euch nur einmal meine Erfahrungen mit Easyvdr auf einer S100 mitteilen. Ich habe meinen VDR mit dieser Konstellation nun seit 3 Wochen im Einsatz und eigentlich läuft alles :)
Die S100 habe ich bei ebay für ~40EUR bekommen.
Hier mal ein paar Informationen zur S100:
Prozessor Ultra Low Voltage Mobile Intel Celeron 733MHz (133MHz FSB, 32KB L1, 256KB L2) PASSIV RAM128MB (nicht erweiterbar, fest eingelötet.) GrafikkarteIntel 830M PCIFrüher vorhanden, heute nur noch die Lötpunkte vorhanden (kann eingelötet werden) LANRTL8139 10/100 USB2 X 2.0 FernbedienungRecht gute FB, Empfänger ist in der Front integriert, gibt die FB-Signale als PS2 Tastatur ab NetzteilPassiv ca 45watt (bei ca. 75% Wirkungsgrad)
Als erstes musste ich ein VGA-Adapter zusammenlöten, Anleitung hier: http://wiki.zenega-user.de/index.php?title=Modifikationen
Anschließend kommt man mit einer USB-Tastatur ins Bios und kann den Bios-Eintrag "Boot WindowsCE" auf "no" setzen und die Bootreihenfolge ändern.
Auf dem IDE-Port steckt ein DOM mit 32MB, den habe ich entfernt und durch eine normale 3,5" 40GB HD ersetzt. Stromstecker für diese musste ich selbst am Netzteil abgreifen.
Standard ist eine MiniPCI-Wlan Karte eingesteckt, diese habe ich entfernt da ich kein WLAN benötige.
Leider hatte ich (wie die meisten heutzutage) das Pecht eine S100 ohne PCI-Slot zu bekommen. Also musste ich aus einem alten Board den PCI-Slot auslöten (Entlötpumpe und >45Watt Lötkolben müsste reichen), die Lötpunkte auf dem S100-Board zu entfernen war allerdings schwieriger: Die Masse-Pins führen die Wärme zu schnell ab. Mit einer Kombination aus vorsichtig Bohren und 2 Lötkolben (vorder und Rückseite) habe ich aber auch diese frei bekommen. Anschließend noch den PCI-Slot einlöten und fertig :)
DVB-S TT 1.5 Karte mit Risercard aufgesteckt und mit einer C'T Boot-CD und PCI-Analyzer geguckt ob die Karte richtig erkannt wird. (Trotz meiner Risercard ist das Gehäuse zu niedrig und ich muss die Hardware demnächst umziehen)
Da das Netzteil sehr schwach ist und mit der DVB Karte und HD eigentlich schon überm Limit ist musste ich das CD-LW extern mit Strom versorgen um Easyvdr zu installieren.
Als die Installation fertig war musste ich nur noch ein paar Easyvdr-Einstellungen ändern: XXV bzw. SQL Deaktivieren (Der Ram ist mit 128MB dafür etwas zu schwachbrüstig) Alle Plugins die ich wirklich nicht brauche deaktivieren LAN -> RTL8139 setzen
Und alles läuft :)
Ich bin sehr positiv überrascht über 2 Dinge: mplayer-Plugin läuft ohne Probleme (?!) Ich kann jede Art von Film flüssig abspielen (Ich habe an der mplayer.sh(.conf) nichts geändert). Die CPU-Auslastung bei einer Wiedergabe von einer RSVCD liegt bei nur >10% des mplayers. (?!) externremux.sh läuft selbst bei DSL1000 flüssig bei einer Auslastung durch mencoder bei 60-70%.
Nach einer Uptime von ca. 5 Tagen ist die Box abgeschmiert, ich hatte zu diesem Zeitpunkt keinen Bildschirm dran und konnte deswegen nicht herausfinden warum. (Ich denke mal dass das Netzteil einen Schwächeanfall hatte ;))
Nach einer Woche habe ich einen 12v Lüfter per 5v angeschlossen, dieser ist nun nicht hörbar und sorgt für einen dezenten Luftstrom ;) Ohne Lüfter wurde die DVB-Karte die direkt neben dem CPU-Kühlkörper liegt doch deutlich heiß. Jetzt mit Lüfter ist sie um einiges Kühler.

Wenn ich mal Zeit hab möchte ich die Zenegas als Streaming Client, oder MP3-LAN Player nutzen... ui ui ui ich hab auch noch zwei so boxen rumfliegen (mit PCI slots). VGA Adapter, RiserCard, DXR3s usw. auch alles am Start.
Ich wollte das Teil aber in verbindung mit Softdevice, oder einer DXR3 Karte als Streamdevclient nutzen.
Hoffe das das DXR3 Problem mitterweile gelöst ist !

Hi bei 1 meiner zenegas 128mb vdr 1.4.5 mit einer Auflösung von Modes "720x576" Depth 24 auf den TV und schart/svhs als vdr ohne Server also mit einer budgetkarte und zirka 10 plugins naja ist ein geändertes easyvdr 0.3 mit udef Kernel Eigenbau und allen was die zenega nicht braucht rausgeschmissen Start , stopp Scripte und andere optimiert . Cpu last tv 30% dvd ungefehr das selbe . als Client fersuch ich mal was da so an Cpu last da klaub das sich die box da langweilt . mfg det

das ist nett von Dir. Ich hab allerdings aus Zeitmangel die beiden Zenega's verkauft.
Aber ich denke es gibt noch andere die Interesse haben...
Was mich interessieren würde: Was kannst Du denn mit mit dem ISO anfangen ?
Läuft da ein VDR performant der als Streaming Client genutzt werden kann ? (Grafik: geht da inzwischen mehr als 256 Farben ?)

hi also mit 64 MB geht die Kiste auch 65Mb =65% CPU aber flüssiges Bild zügiges umschalten . also muss man den Speicher nicht unbedingt umbauen mfg det
