Hi, had time again, and connected the box to the LAN and via SCART to a TV. Server Software is updated to 0.22a. I have set the Resolution to 1080i on the Menu at 1st star... (i need 576) When i navigate with a PC-Browser to the Server-Software i see nothing... Box boots until i see "10" on the 7 segment display. But then i habe no more picture an the SCART Output. (I have seen the 3 points an text like "lade software" via SCART...) I would be happy about an hint... -Error in config file ? -What is needed to get picture on SCART ? Settings.js is attached... settings2.xmls looks so: BusyBox v1.13.3 () built-in shell (ash) Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands. / # cd /flash /flash # ls informationobjects settings2.xml storageman temperature.csi /flash # cat settings2.xml <AudioOutputSettings version="1"> <connection type="AUDIO_CONNECTION_TYPE_ANALOG" index="0" volume="100" latency= "0"> <mapping from="AUDIO_FORMAT_MPEG_1" to="AUDIO_FORMAT_PCM_2CH" mix="0"/& gt; <mapping from="AUDIO_FORMAT_MPEG_2" to="AUDIO_FORMAT_PCM_2CH" mix="0"/& gt; <mapping from="AUDIO_FORMAT_AC3" to="AUDIO_FORMAT_PCM_2CH" mix="0"/> <mapping from="AUDIO_FORMAT_AC3_PLUS" to="AUDIO_FORMAT_PCM_2CH" mix="0" /> <mapping from="AUDIO_FORMAT_AAC_HE" to="AUDIO_FORMAT_PCM_2CH" mix="0"/& gt; <mapping from="AUDIO_FORMAT_AAC_LC" to="AUDIO_FORMAT_PCM_2CH" mix="0"/& gt; <mapping from="AUDIO_FORMAT_PCM_2CH" to="AUDIO_FORMAT_PCM_2CH" mix="0"/ > </connection> <connection type="AUDIO_CONNECTION_TYPE_SPDIF" index="0" volume="0" latency=&qu ot;0"> <mapping from="AUDIO_FORMAT_MPEG_1" to="AUDIO_FORMAT_PCM_2CH" mix="0"/& gt; <mapping from="AUDIO_FORMAT_MPEG_2" to="AUDIO_FORMAT_PCM_2CH" mix="0"/& gt; <mapping from="AUDIO_FORMAT_AC3" to="AUDIO_FORMAT_PCM_2CH" mix="0"/> <mapping from="AUDIO_FORMAT_AC3_PLUS" to="AUDIO_FORMAT_PCM_2CH" mix="0" /> <mapping from="AUDIO_FORMAT_AAC_HE" to="AUDIO_FORMAT_PCM_2CH" mix="0"/& gt; <mapping from="AUDIO_FORMAT_AAC_LC" to="AUDIO_FORMAT_PCM_2CH" mix="0"/& gt; <mapping from="AUDIO_FORMAT_PCM_2CH" to="AUDIO_FORMAT_PCM_2CH" mix="0"/ > </connection> <connection type="AUDIO_CONNECTION_TYPE_HDMI" index="0" volume="0" latency=&quo t;0"> <mapping from="AUDIO_FORMAT_MPEG_1" to="AUDIO_FORMAT_PCM_2CH" mix="0"/& gt; <mapping from="AUDIO_FORMAT_MPEG_2" to="AUDIO_FORMAT_PCM_2CH" mix="0"/& gt; <mapping from="AUDIO_FORMAT_AC3" to="AUDIO_FORMAT_PCM_2CH" mix="0"/> <mapping from="AUDIO_FORMAT_AC3_PLUS" to="AUDIO_FORMAT_PCM_2CH" mix="0" /> <mapping from="AUDIO_FORMAT_AAC_HE" to="AUDIO_FORMAT_PCM_2CH" mix="0"/& gt; <mapping from="AUDIO_FORMAT_AAC_LC" to="AUDIO_FORMAT_PCM_2CH" mix="0"/& gt; <mapping from="AUDIO_FORMAT_PCM_2CH" to="AUDIO_FORMAT_PCM_2CH" mix="0"/ > </connection> <connection type="AUDIO_CONNECTION_TYPE_DECODER" index="0" volume="15" latency= "0"> </connection> </AudioOutputSettings> <VideoOutputConfiguration version="1"> <ColorSystem>COLOR_SYSTEM_PAL_B</ColorSystem> <ScartLoopThrough>NO_VALUE_MODE</ScartLoopThrough> <Outputs> <Output> <Id>0</Id> <ConnectionType>VIDEO_CONNECTION_TYPE_HDMI</ConnectionType> <Mode>VIDEO_MODE_1080I50</Mode> <ColorSpace>DIGITAL_COLOR_SPACE_SRGB</ColorSpace> </Output> <Output> <Id>1</Id> <ConnectionType>VIDEO_CONNECTION_TYPE_COMPONENT</ConnectionType> <Mode>VIDEO_MODE_1080I50</Mode> <ColorSpace>ANALOG_COLOR_SPACE_YPBPR</ColorSpace> </Output> <Output> <Id>2</Id> <ConnectionType>VIDEO_CONNECTION_TYPE_SCART</ConnectionType> <ScartMode>SCART_MODE_CVBS</ScartMode> </Output> </Outputs> </VideoOutputConfiguration> /flash # telnet to Port 19999 of the Box says: 1 instances shares 0 services with 0 counted events, average/service: 0 ##G???´? With hdmi there is a picture? Scart should work with every size, box scales it to fit on scart. The server address is also put in correctly I think be cause there is no error on the display. Remote should work and the server log should show some connection. Then we have to debug the output some more. With hdmi there is a picture? I could take the box and carry it to a monitor with hdmi if needed... (btw: i hear no sound too, but have a clean-black screen on SCART. And if i press for example "5" on the remote, the 7-segment display on the box shows anways: "10", but i see LEDs blinking while using the remote... ) Remote should work and the server log should show some connection. Because the box now boots only to 3-Stars an then Reboots theirselve i have reduced the resolution, but it dont help... Strange. Maybe i connect it tomorrow to the beamer which can receive 1080i ... Yeah the options to save are correct. Problem can be the old firmware, what happens when set back to 1080, still reboots or not. Also erase settings might work, NOT ERASE FIRMWARE! ! Blinking indicates timer set on box. Power on / off on remote does switch it off? Up/ down should change the channel. Btw On my list 401 is ARD, 402 ZDF. I have done some more tests. My 1st error: i thought when i push the power switch and the box has booted its on... (and pressing power on the front of the box has'nt help) Power button on the remote should wake it. Yeh, now i can change the numbers on the 7-seqment display by pressing Up/Down But the only Pictures of the box i get is from the booting the box / their configuration menu) When i zap higher to channel 14 or 15 i got "ERRRR" on the display... Should i get with "Menu" an OSD Output when the Server Connection works not correct ? The osd should show the channel name, error must also be on screen. And menukey must display the main menu. What channellist are you using on the vip? Try the default and chose channel 401 for ard sd or 402 for zdf sd. If you have them on the server there should be a picture. If you have them on the server there should be a picture. 1st i have tried the easyvdr-list and the log above is from the default one... I was not able to switch to channel 401. Entering "4" "0" "1" fails... "Up"until such a high Number was not possible too. Tomorrow i try to edit the list... If you post the IP of your server I can include it in the source, so you don't have to change it after a upgrade. Just once select it from the menu and the vip remembers it. Resolution should be changable from the scripts settings menu but with the old firmware it might gives problems so setting both from the bootmenu and the scripts settings menu.
